Specialists Main Page We formerly listed our e-mail addresses here. We felt that this would improve communications with our patients and staff, and we saw this as a tremendous advance.
Unfortunately we had to remove them. By simply by listing our e-mail addresses on the web we were bombarded by thousands of spam messages...daily. This interferes with our ability to respond to valid e-mails from patients. We also had concerns about the timeliness and privacy of e-mail communication.
You need to know our concerns about using e-mail. Here were our instructions on e-mail:
1) You should be aware that any e-mail inquiries and responses should not be considered confidential or privileged . If you e-mail confidential information to us you should assume that it will be seen by other people while in transit to us.
2) Some of the doctors check their e-mail very infrequently or at irregular intervals. If you need a quick answer, please call us on the phone.
3) Please do not e-mail us about an emergency or to make/change/cancel an appointment. Please use the phone.
4) Unless you have been treated by one of us in our offices, no doctor/patient relationship exists and no diagnosis or treatment can be made. Information on this web site is for self education and should be used in consultation with of physician of your choice. We cannot answer any medical questions from persons who are not established patients.
When we listed our e-mail addresses here, we found our office e-mail to be rendered useless by spam, or inquiries from people who were not patients. In fact, we continue to get inquiries from around the globe from places like Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Columbia, and Korea.
While we are quite flattered to have a worldwide audience, this site is not intended to be a marketing tool, or to attract patients from outside the High Plains area.
Rather, we would like to give our existing patients top priority.
So if you would like to communicate with us by e-mail, please call and ask our office what the e-mail address is, or ask your doctor or nurse at your next visit.
