Dana's Story:

I was born and raised in Amarillo, TX where I consider it home.

After graduating from Caprock High School in 1996, I got married and stayed at home with my three children, Alexis, Jillian, and Elijah, for the next several years before going back to school. Believing that caring for people is my life purpose, I started my education at Amarillo College where I earned an Associate of Science degree in 2009 prior to receiving my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at West Texas A&M University in 2011.  I practiced as a registered nurse in clinical areas of Emergency Department at NWTH and Intensive Care Unit at Vibra Healthcare from 2011-2014 while going to school. In 2012, I received my Board Certification in Emergency Nursing.

At Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, I continued my education and received a Master of Science in Nursing in 2015. I was Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in the field of Family Nurse Practitioner in August of 2015.

From 2016 to 2017, I provided primary care and women’s health care to the medically underserved patients at Regence Health Network in Amarillo. I also worked at Care Express for a short period of time in 2017 prior to joining Dr. Do in May of 2017.

It is an honor to join Dr. Do’s team as I do share his commitment to provide high quality, compassionate, and evidence-based medical care to the Amarillo community. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, camping, listening to music, and watching movies.
