Medical Specialists Main Page Dr. Sahad is a graduate of the Catholic University Madre y Maestra Medical School in Santiago, Dominican Republic. His internal medicine residency was at the nationally known Cook County Hospital in Chicago; his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship was at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. Dr. Sahad has provided medical care for pulmonary, critical care, and breathing related conditions in Amarillo since 1994. He was formerly the chairman of Pulmonary and Critical Care at the Alexandria, LA VA Medical Center prior to moving to Amarillo. He is available for care of pulmonary conditions in his office, at Northwest Texas Hospital, and BSA Hospital for critical care consultations.
