Nicole Davey-Ranasinghe, MD

Dr. Nicole Davey-Ranasinghe is a board-certified rheumatologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and more. She is committed to helping patients manage their conditions and improve quality of life through compassionate care, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing support.

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Dr. Davey-Ranasinghe earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry before attending the University of Nevada, Reno, where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 2008. She went on to complete her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, serving as Chief Resident from 2011–2012. She continued her training with a fellowship in Rheumatology at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.

Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Davey-Ranasinghe has been recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Doctors “Rising Star” from 2021 through 2023. She is also an active member of the American College of Rheumatology, American College of Physicians, and the Potter-Randall Medical Society.

Since 2017, Dr. Davey-Ranasinghe has called Amarillo home, and she is excited to establish her new practice with Amarillo Medical Specialists beginning January 2, 2025. She is currently accepting new patients with most insurance plans, including traditional Medicare and most Blue Cross plans.
