Amarillo Medical Specialists follows the Amarillo Independent School District’s policy for closures. If Amarillo Independent School District (AISD) closes due to weather, AMS will also be closed.

The AMS Urgent Care Clinic operates separately from the main clinic. During inclement weather, please call the Urgent Care Clinic directly to confirm its hours and availability.

After hours, patients needing urgent, non-emergency care may visit our on-site Urgent Care Clinic, open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. For emergencies, please call 911.

For prescriptions, please contact your pharmacy.
