Melissa Aguiree - Holland, MBA, MSN, FNP-BC
Melissa Aguirre-Holland was born in Weslaco, Texas, and has spent most of her life in the Texas Panhandle community of Lazbuddie. After graduating from Lazbuddie High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2003 and a Master of Business Administration in 2006 from West Texas A&M University. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010.
From 2003 to 2011, Melissa served as Chief Nursing Officer at the Acute and Chronic Pain and Spine Center while continuing her education. Following her graduation, she was Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Family Practice in March 2011. She went on to provide comprehensive medical care in a local internal medicine practice from 2011 to 2014 and later served patients at Regence Health Network, caring for the indigent and medically underserved, until April 2015.
Since May 2015, Melissa has worked closely with Dr. Nam Do. She remains committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to the Amarillo community.
Melissa is an active member of the Panhandle Nurse Practitioner Association, Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her dedication to her field has been recognized with honors, including being named Young Careerist of the Month by the Business and Professional Women’s Association in May 2009.
Outside of her professional life, Melissa and her husband, Justin Holland, enjoy raising their daughter, Olivia. She values spending time with her family, exercising, traveling, and watching movies.
