Dr. Ryan Batson Smithee is a board-certified internist and a native of the Texas Panhandle. She grew up in Amarillo and is deeply connected to the community, where both her family and her husband John’s family still reside.

After earning her bachelors degree at Baylor University and medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2017, Dr. Smithee completed her internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care to adults, managing a wide range of conditions from chronic illnesses to preventive health.

As a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, she has a special interest in nutrition and weight loss, helping patients achieve lasting wellness through evidence-based lifestyle interventions.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time with her three daughters and husband John.
