Kenny M. Brantley, MD, PhD

Dr. Brantley is a native of Littlefield, Texas, and a proud graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry (cum laude), his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, and his M.D. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock before pursuing fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

In 1999, Dr. Brantley returned to the Panhandle and opened his practice in Amarillo, where he has been serving patients ever since. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases such as Graves’ disease, hypothyroidism, and thyroid cancer, pituitary disorders, parathyroid disease, and adrenal gland problems. He also provides care for osteoporosis and male sexual dysfunction. Dr. Brantley is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Brantley provides both primary care and specialty care for his patients and maintains hospital affiliations with Northwest Texas Hospital and Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital. His office offers a variety of in-house diagnostic services, including laboratory testing, X-rays, bone densitometry, EKGs, and computer analysis of glucose meter results, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and treatment in one location.

Dr. Brantley is committed to delivering individualized, patient-centered care to those he serves across Amarillo and the surrounding region. Dr. Brantley is married and has lived in Amarillo since 1999.
