What makes the HerCare clinic special?

We appreciate how a woman’s health affects her life, her family’s life, and her community. HerCare strives to provide ample education so patients can achieve improvements in health and well-being. We meet patients where they are and develop affirming behavior modification goals. Cost consciousness and the highest possible quality of life are paramount.

What can a patient expect?

  • Explanations of medical issues and treatment options using evidence-based research

  • Guidance about health maintenance and disease prevention

  • Homework and no/low-cost methods of health promotion

  • Care provided with mind-body wholeness goals, which we call Womanology

  • Primary Care for women ages 18 and up with attention to family planning, menopause management, and bone health

What is women’s health?

Historically, women’s health meant care for diseases which occur exclusively in women. Currently, women’s health includes the entire spectrum of medical issues which affect women differently than men.
