Amarillo Medical Specialists is proud to welcome Dr. Maria Caga-Anan back to Amarillo, where she continues her family’s long-standing tradition of serving patients in medicine. Coming from a medical family with roots in Amarillo, TX, and Elkhart, KS, Dr. Caga-Anan brings both deep personal connection and professional expertise to her practice in endocrinology.

She earned her medical degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine before completing her residency in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. She then pursued fellowship training in Endocrinology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.

Dr. Caga-Anan specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal conditions, and other metabolic concerns. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-focused care, with a strong dedication to improving quality of life through effective management and education.
