Dr. Carolina Perez is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon specializing in the surgical and conservative treatment of foot and ankle pathology. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive foot and ankle care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors throughout the Texas Panhandle. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, wound care, limb salvage, diabetic foot care, and pediatric and adult foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Perez proudly served in the United States Air Force for 12 years and is a combat veteran. During her military service, she developed a deep commitment to leadership, service, and excellence in patient care. She continues her dedication to serving those who have served our country through her work with veterans, including caring for patients through the Amarillo VA Health Care System.
She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and completed a comprehensive Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in New York, where she gained extensive surgical and clinical experience managing complex foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Perez has also practiced in Kentucky and Indiana, treating both adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of foot and ankle disorders.
Dr. Perez is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). Her clinical expertise includes:

As a native Spanish speaker, Dr. Perez is proud to provide care to both English- and Spanish-speaking patients and families throughout the Texas Panhandle. Dr. Perez and her husband are proud parents of two children and enjoy the many outdoor opportunities the Texas Panhandle has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys camping, fishing, long-distance running, and outdoor recreation and sports.
Dr. Perez is passionate about helping patients maintain mobility, independence, and an active lifestyle at every stage of life. She enjoys caring for entire families—from young athletes and active adults to veterans and seniors. Her mission is to keep the people of the Texas Panhandle on their feet and doing the activities they love, whether that means competing in sports, working, serving their communities, or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
