Stephanie Rice, RN, MSN, FNP-C
Stephanie Rice is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. A Texas Panhandle native, Stephanie was raised in Dalhart, Texas, and later relocated to the Houston area to pursue her nursing career.
She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lone Star College–Montgomery in 2007. Stephanie later returned obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2022. She continued her advanced education at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2025. That same year, she achieved national board certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Stephanie spent the majority of her nursing career in emergency medicine. Her background includes specialized experience in emergency nursing, trauma care, and pediatric trauma, providing her with a broad and well-rounded clinical foundation that she now brings to her role in primary care.
Stephanie is an active member of the Panhandle Nurse Practitioner Association, the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She currently resides in Canyon, Texas, with her husband, Ricky Rice. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Stephanie has a love for life and those closest to her describe her as kind, fun, interesting and knowledgeable. Grounded in her faith, Stephanie emphasizes strong patient relationships and a holistic approach to care, striving to partner with her patients to achieve optimal health and wellness outcomes.
